Make a difference in the lives of K-8th grade students at Robert Healy Elementary and volunteer with Healy Stars! We welcome people who are excited about supporting the Healy community and getting to know Healy at a deeper level. Volunteers must pass a preliminary background check through CPS, which will also allow you to chaperone your student's field trips. Click here to fill out our volunteer application and choose Level 2- it's a simple application and stop by the Healy office to get a copy of your license.
VOLUNTEERING
Healy Stars meets on the first Friday of every month in the Annex lunchroom at 8:15am. Here we discuss financial reports, volunteer needs, upcoming activities, plan events, fundraising for capital projects and more. We welcome anyone to join us to learn about who we are, what we do, and those who would like to be more involved beyond volunteering.
COME TO A MEETING
At the beginning of every school year, Healy Stars hold elections for their Board of Directors and Elected Offices such as President, Vice President, Secretary, and Co-Tresurers. These offices are held for a year and are perfect for those who are looking for ways to support both Healy Elementary and Healy Stars with their time and skill set at a deeper level.
